Merge Girls has a unique system for collecting resources and heroes using Soulstones. As you play the game, there is a spinning orb that routinely produces random Soulstones from stage 1 to 10 (roman numerals are used in game I to X). You can then combine or "Merge" same stage Soulstones to produce the next stage. For example, you combine two stage 5 Soulstones to product a stage 6.

When Merging reaches stage 10, you'll recieve a [[Common Soulstone]]. When you merge two [[Common Soulstone]]s, you'll obtain a new Character. There is also a [[Blessed Soulstone]] which when merged has a higher summon rate for SSR Characters.

When you Merge soulstones, you'll also collect [[Quartz]]. This is an extremely important resource for upgrading in your Lab. It is used to upgrade many aspects of your account including improved Soulstone production and overall Hero combat stats.

Characters in Merge Girls are one of 4 Class types - [[Tank]], [[Attacker]], [[Shooter]] and [[Supporter]]. Each Character either deals [[Physical]] or [[Magic]] damage.

While it's important to have a good balanced team with front-line tanks and back-line supporters, the game will automatically position your Characters on your team based on their Class. So don't worry about making sure your Support is in the back-line - the game will do that for you.

Merge Girls Beginner Tips

• In early game, use your [[Quartz]] on all the "Production Research" upgrades in the Lab maximize Soulstone generation. The quicker you can generate Soulstones the more [[Quartz]] and Characters you'll collect over time. Combat Research can come later after you build up your teams of Characters.
• Save your 4x speed tickets for "Hot Time" events that occur regularly that increase your Soulstone sythensis and Quartz gain by 200% to maximize your Soulstone and Quartz gain.
• Use your best damage dealers for idle stage repeat battles, then select your more balanced team for boss battles. The faster you kill enemies in idle mode, the more gold you will collect over time.
